Hande Reunion June 28-29, 2008
Dedicated to the memory of Hildegarde Quamme
Dear Relatives,
We welcome all of you to come, get acquainted, and reminisce about all our past reunions. Hildegarde hosted the first reunion in 1969 at her farm near Sunburg, Minnesota.
Everyone in the extended family is welcome, so please share this invitation with others for whom we do not have an address.
Please bring a picture and a remembrance from a past reunion to share.

Saturday, June 28:
Saturday morning we will meet at the Dethlefs Center located by the Green Lake Mall on South Highway 23, Spicer, Minnesota. Registration and coffee 10-12. Lunch served at 12 noon.
The afternoon includes a tour of local church cemeteries, a Hande farm (display of antique machinery) and other points of interest.
A catered meal will be served at 6 p.m. at the Dethlefs Center. D’Arcy Hande, Dick Lindahl and (we hope) Jamie and Christina Pierce will show slides and tell about their trip to Norway in 2007 where they visited Hande farms, churches and other historic sites in Valdres.
There will also be music and we welcome any other talent.
Sunday, June 29:
Plans are to attend the Green Lake Bible Camp Stave Church in Spicer at 9 a.m. Following the services, we will meet at Helen Geer’s home for a pot-luck (dish to share or cash donation) meal at noon. We will again share memories before we say our goodbyes.
(Bring your children and grandchildren as there is a daycare with toys in a fenced yard. Also, a hillside forty foot water slide.)
